Law firm Motieka & Audzevicius shall disburse yearly stipend of 4000 litas to the best first year student in Vilnius University Law Faculty starting from year 2007.

The first competition was announced in April, 2007 and shall continue until the fall semester commences. The subsequent competitions shall be announced at the start of every academic year (starting from September, 2007) and shall last for 2 semesters until the next year’s fall semester commences. The University shall choose the best student and inform the providers of the stipend.

According to the partner of the law firm Ramunas Audzevicius, all of the lawyers in the firm have studied or are studying in this institution. The managing partner of the firm attorney at law K. Motieka is the chairman of the board of Vilnius University. For these reasons the alumni of Vilnius University Law Faculty wish to encourage future lawyers to responsibly prepare for the legal profession.

In the nearest future law firm Motieka & Audzevicius intends to provide funds for the reconstruction of one of the auditoriums of the faculty. In addition, the library of the faculty every year shall be provided with professional books.
